Our Practice
Alma Behavioral Group’s approach to psychiatry includes multiple perspectives, such as, Psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Education and Spirituality. We take the necessary time to understand the uniqueness of each person in order to treat the patient in a holistic way. Our clinic specializes in the assessment and treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, Psychosis, Insomnia, Sexual Disorders, and Addictions.
Alma Behavioral Group Clinic is also a License Suboxone provider.

About
Our Director
Dr. Jose Y. Mendez was born in Venezuela, and from a very young age, knew he wanted to practice medicine. He received his medical degree from “Universidad de los Andes” in Merida, Venezuela and practice there for about seven years until 2003 when he moved to United States and completed his residency in Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland Ohio. Dr. Mendez is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
Dr. Mendez is board certified in Psychiatry by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and he offers treatment for Children, 16 + and adults in the areas of general psychiatry, mood disorders, chemical dependency, insomnia and sexual disorders
